This privacy statement covers The HULA Animal Rescue website at www.hularescue.org. Where links are provided in this website to other websites, those other websites are not covered by this statement.

HULA Animal Rescue will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is kept securely and to respect the information privacy of all visitors to its website. The HULA website, and its agents, use up-to-date security technology features and procedures.

HULA Animal Rescue, Glebe Farm, Salford Road, Aspley Guise, Milton Keynes MK17 8HZ is an animal welfare charity (Registered Charity Number 1094115).

Your information may be held on a central database, local computer file, or as a paper record. This information comes from or relates to:-

• response and application forms, correspondence or other dealings with us;
• participation in fundraising events and activities;
• purchase of merchandise, raffle tickets etc;
• general information which is in the public domain.

We will use your information for one or more of the following: administration, marketing, fundraising and customer services. We will also let you know about the work of HULA Animal Rescue, as well as the different ways in which you could help, including buying goods, coming to events which we organise, assisting with fundraising activities and supporting us financially. If you would prefer us not to contact you about some or all of these things please indicate accordingly when giving us your details. Any such previous request will continue to apply. You may change your preferences at any time by writing or contacting us by e-mail.

In order to accomplish the above purposes, we will pass your information to our service providers and agents. We will keep your information for a reasonable period to contact you about our work and the services we provide. We may share your information to allow other carefully selected charities or organisations to approach our supporters. We or they may contact you by mail, telephone, fax, e-mail or other electronic means to let you know about ways in which you could help.
If you would prefer us not to supply your information to third parties in this way please let us know when submitting your details, unless you have already done so.

We do not transfer your information to other countries, but if it should prove desirable for us to use agencies in this way in the future we will put a contract in place to ensure that the same level of data protection applies as in the UK. You have a right to ask for a copy of your information, for which we charge a small fee to cover administrative costs and to ensure that maximum resources go to the animals. We will correct any inaccuracies which you tell us about. To make sure we follow your instructions correctly and to improve our service to you through training of our staff, we may monitor or record communications.
