HULA Animal Rescue is located approximately two miles from junction 13 of the M1 motorway, and approximately 6 miles to the south of central Milton Keynes.
Opening Times
We are open to visitors Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Monday) between 1pm and 3pm. We do also open on some Public Holidays but please phone to check our opening times on Holidays.Once a month we also hold special themed Open Days. See our Special Events page for further details.
Admission Charges
We rely on public donations and ask for a small admission charge when visiting.- Adults £1.00

Please note: some sat nav systems may take you to the south of Aspley Guise railway station. If so, cross the line away from the village, travel approx. 3/4 mile and you'll find us just around the corner on the right hand side.
Public Transport to HULA
The nearest rail station is Aspley Guise - just a few minutes walk from the HULA entrance. This is on the Bletchley-Bedford line run by Marston Vale (there is a timetable on their website). Trains run every day except Sunday.
There is also a bus service running between Woburn Sands and Leighton Buzzard which stops at the square in Aspley Guise. There are connecting services to Bedford and Milton Keynes. Please note that the Aspley Guise stop is a much farther walk to HULA than the railway station. The current service is run by Centrebus on behalf of South Midland Connect; Service Route 49 Mon-Sat.

Facilities & Disabled Access
A selection of hot and cold drinks and confectionary are available to purchase in the HULA Reception.Toilets are available for visitors including one portaloo designed for disabled access.
Wheelchair users may find some of the ground uneven (gravel surface in places). The animal houses are accessible by ramp.
Health & Safety
Please respect our 10mph speed limit - livestock may be roaming freely around the centre.All animals carry germs which people can catch and cause illness however you can reduce the risk of catching these by taking a few precautions.
- do not eat or drink near animals until hands have been washed thoroughly
- wash hands as soon as possible after touching any animals (facilities are provided around the centre)
- supervise young children and stress the importance of washing hands
