The Small Animal House
We have a selection of rabbits and other small animals currently looking for new homes. Not all of the animals may be featured below - some of the gerbils and hamsters are a little camera shy!
Please visit the small animal house to meet all the animals.
HERBIE
History and Recommendations
reserved pending introduction and homecheck
Herbie is a friendly rabbit who likes being stroked, however she has not been used to being handled and may kick out or scratch when being picked up. Because of this it would be best if she went to a home with children over the age of eight or to a family whose children have had previous experience of owning or handling rabbits. Herbie was kept indoors in her previous home so if she was going to be kept outside in her new home she would need to be acclimatised gradually.
Herbie is a friendly rabbit who would make a rewarding pet for someone who give her the time and attention she deserves.

DONNIE
History and Recommendations
Donnie is generally a friendly rabbit although she can be quite feisty and may take a dislike to certain people. Because of this and because of her size it would be best if she went to a home with children over the age of ten and to an owner who has had experience of owning or handling giant rabbits.
Donnie will need to go to a home with plenty of space for her to explore. She would make a rewarding pet for someone who can give her the time and space she requires and who knows what owning a giant rabbit involves.

SHARON
History and Recommendations
Sharon is generally a friendly hamster although she may nip if not handled confidently. Because of this it would be best if she went to a home with children over the age of ten or to a family whose children have had experience of handling dwarf hamsters.
Sharon would make a rewarding pet for someone who can give her the care and attention she needs.

RODINA & WALNUT
photo of walnut coming soon
History and Recommendations
Rodina and Walnut are both very friendly and are used to being handled and are used to children. Walnut likes to hide away and can be difficult to catch but is fine with being handled once caught! Rodina and Walnut came in together and are very closely bonded so we would like to find them a new home together. Rodina and Walnut are used to having the run of a garden so would need to go to a home where they have plenty of space.
Rodina and Walnut would make rewarding pets for someone who can give them the space and attention they need.
